The optimal situation occurs when the picture's content and the light are integrated into a whole expression. Then new meaning may develop.	Sometimes I understand what I have done.	I do sometimes think, but painting works better when I trust in my intuition. Thoughts are for afterwards.
	What attracts me is the ambigous, the almost unintelligible message from the world.
	Have I learned anything? Maybe when I manage to discover my failures.
Ideas rarely interest me, they are often limitative.		The best motif is one that is asking to be discovered and wants to surprise. Arranged motifs easily appear constructed, sometimes forced.
